The option "File deleted checking" must not be used. All other options depend on your needs/preferences.Note: Starting from Merak 5.x you have to configure McAfee VirusScan as "External Antivirus".
DAT Update Instructions:
Just run "C:\Program
Files\Merak\VirusScan\Update\update.cmd" each week to update the DAT files (you can easily schedule the task in Windows so it
is done automatically). Note that this batch file does
also update the McAfee VirusScan engine.
